3 thought-provoking stories

1. Miracle

One night, it rained heavily. Someone was watching TV at home, and it was reported on the TV that the area they were in would be flooded, so the citizens should take precautions. That man was a devout Christian. He said to himself, "I don't have to worry because God will save me."

When he woke up the next morning, he found that the first floor of his house was flooded. And the water level is still rising. At this time, he saw a boat passing by outside the window, and someone shouted to him, "Jump up, I'll save you!", he replied, "Thank you, no, God will save me!"

The water level continued to rise and it had flooded the second floor of the house, so he had to climb to the roof. At this time, he saw another ship with two people passing by. One of them said to him, "Get on board, we will save you", and he replied, "Thank you, no, God will save me!" "

The water level continued to rise, and when the water reached his waist, he continued to pray for the miracle to happen. At this time, a helicopter flew by and threw a rope at him. "Grab the rope, I will pull you up", the helicopter pilot said to him. The man still replied, "Thank you, no, God will save me."

Eventually the water level submerged the top of his head and he was drowned. When he arrived in heaven, he asked to see God. When he was brought before God, he questioned, "My God, tell me I believe in you so piously and have been praying for miracles to happen. Why don't you save me?"

God answered him, "What do you want me to do? In order to save you, I have already sent you two ships and a helicopter!"

2. Rope

This is the story of a mountain climber who once vowed to climb the highest mountain. After years of careful preparation, he began his journey. But this time he climbed the mountain alone, and he wanted to get all the glory alone.

When the evening came, he decided to continue climbing until night fell. It was very dark that night, and the moonlight and starlight were completely hidden in the clouds. The visibility at the time was almost zero.

When he was only a short distance from the summit, he made a mistake! He began to fall at a terrifying speed. His heart was full of fear, and at a certain moment of falling, he seemed to see his life disappearing before his eyes.

Just when he felt death coming, the rope around his waist suddenly tightened, and he hung on a rock.

Hanging in the air like this, his heart was filled with despair, and he shouted, "God, save me!"

The magic is that a deep voice really came from heaven "What do you need me to do for you?"

He replied, "Help me!"

"Do you really believe that I can help you?"

"God, of course I believe you!"

"Well, since you believe me, then you cut the rope."

However, after a short silence, the man tightened the rope around his waist.

A long time later, a mountain rescue team told everyone a story about a climber. They found a climber who was frozen to death. He was hanging in the air, his hands tightly grasping the rope tied to his waist, and he was only 1 meter away from the ground...

So, is your rope tight? Will you let go?

3. Hut

A survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on an uninhabited island. Every day he prayed for God to help him religiously, and every day he would look across the coastline to seek rescue, but every day he found nothing. Frustrated, he finally built a small house with wood floating in the sea, so that he could avoid the wind and sun, and could store some of his food, water, etc. But one day, when he came back from looking for food, he found that his hut was on fire and plumes of smoke went straight into the sky. The worst happened, and all his things were gone. He cried in pain and anger, "God, why are you doing this to me?"

The next morning, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island. This ship is here to rescue him. "How did you know that I was here?" he asked those who rescued him. "We saw your smoke signal," the people replied.

Sometimes when things go bad, we can easily become depressed. But we can't lose confidence, because anything can happen. Remember, next time your "hut" catches fire, it may be just a signal for help, and the problems that really bother you will eventually be resolved.
