Who is the luckiest person on earth? Have passed by death seven times
Okay, maybe few of you have had a lucky experience. But there is one person: Fran Sellak
He was more than once, more than twice, or even more than three times, but seven times.
Frane Selak (Frane Selak, June 14, 1929 -) is a Croatian who is said to have escaped seven deaths before winning the lottery in 2003, which led reporters to call him "the luckiest in the world" People" and "the most unfortunate people in the world".
Passing by with death: In January 1962, when Serak took the train through the cold and rainy canyon, the train derailed and fell into the river. Someone took Serakra to safety, and 17 other unfortunate passengers were drowned. Serak suffered a broken arm and hypothermia.
The following year, during his first and only flight, he was blown out of a malfunctioning aircraft door and landed in a haystack; the plane crashed, killing 19 people. However, there were no reports of plane crashes in Croatia in 1963.
Three years later, in 1966, a bus he took slipped off the road and fell into the river, drowning four passengers. Serak swam to the shore with several cuts and bruises.
In 1970, his car caught fire while driving, and he managed to escape before the gas tank exploded.
Three years later, in another driving accident, his car engine was soaked in the hot oil of the malfunctioning oil pump, causing flames to be ejected from the vent. In this incident, Serak’s hair was completely scorched, but otherwise he did not suffer any harm.
In 1995, he was knocked down by a bus in Zagreb, but received only minor injuries.
In 1996, when a United Nations truck collided head-on with a truck on a mountain curve, he suddenly turned and hit a guardrail, the guardrail collapsed under the power of his car; the door suddenly opened and he got out of the car Being ejected, (he did not wear a seat belt) he managed to grab a tree and watched his car fall into the canyon from 90 meters (300 feet).
Lottery winner:
In 2003, two days after his 73rd birthday, Selak won a 800,000 (US$1,110,000) lottery. When he won, he also married for the fifth time. Although he bought two houses and a boat with bonuses, after deciding to live a frugal lifestyle, he decided in 2010 to donate most of the remaining money to relatives and friends.
