Five inventors killed by their own "invention"

Although many inventors eventually died because of their own inventions, it was precisely because of such pioneers that they provided valuable experience and ideas to future generations; only to complete an initiative; only to create success for future generations. Road has made great inventions one by one, and only then has our convenient life today!

The progress of human society is inseparable from various inventions and creations. It is precisely because of continuous new inventions that our lifestyles are gradually changed. Inventors often rely on their own imagination and perseverance to explore and experiment to succeed.

However, not all inventions are smooth sailing, especially the craziest ideas. If there are defects in the process, there is probably no second chance.

1. Franz Richter

The following "coat parachute" is one of them, its inventor is an Austrian named Franz Recht . He has been working on creating a peculiar flying suit that can fly like a bird. His main purpose was to let the pilot put on this suit and then land quickly and flexibly when forced to jump.

In the early stage, he used a dummy to test on the fifth floor of the apartment, and the effect was actually good. But in the process of continuous improvement, the effect has not been satisfactory. So he felt that he had to conduct a test on a higher platform to achieve a breakthrough, so he applied to the Paris police for a test at the Eiffel Tower.

After he was approved, regardless of the opposition of his relatives and friends, he resolutely decided that he would go out in person without using a dummy. Unfortunately, due to technical flaws, Franz did not succeed and eventually died of impact.

2. Horace Lawson Han

During the American Civil War, there was an inventor, Horace Lawson Hanley, who tried to build a manual submarine. After several failures in the early stage, a submarine named after him finally took shape.

However, during the first dive, the five people were killed due to the water flow caused by other ships on the water surface pouring into the oxygen port. The accident did not scare Hanli, and the second test was carried out immediately, but the tragedy happened again, killing eight people, including Hanli himself.

3. Henry

The third inventor is engineer Henry , who is very eager to build his own commercial flying car . He and his team welded a detachable small aircraft to the rear of a Ford car.

During the test flight of this futuristic technology car, due to welding problems, the aircraft part was separated from the car, which eventually caused Henry and his friends to fall to the ground.

4. Frus

The fourth engineer named Frus had invented a lot of people who had been exposed to it- underwater oxygen breathing machines , but he invented the earliest version, which was to facilitate the repair of shipwrecks. He came up with a genius-like idea at the time: combining a rubber mask connected to an oxygen supply device with a diving suit.

But his equipment has a fatal flaw. We all know that modern diving tanks contain only 21% oxygen gas, but Furuus is packed with compressed pure oxygen. This also led to his unfortunate death from oxygen poisoning after diving.

5. Alto Lilintal

The last one is said to be the German space pioneer who inspired the White brothers -Alto Lilintal . In his time, people thought that only daydreamers and idiots would believe that people can fly in the sky. But Alto successfully invented gliders, including 15 single-winged and 3 multi-winged, gliding the faces of those pessimists.

He carried out more than 2,000 flights in his life, but unfortunately in a daily flight, the glider suddenly lost control and caused severe spinal injury. When he died, he only said: sacrifice is inevitable.

Although these inventors eventually died because of their own inventions, it was with such pioneers that they provided valuable experience and ideas for future generations to complete a pioneering project.
